Can anyone tell me what Wasukoyagmani mean? this is a man from Sisseton
also the word Pte... I am confused on it. I had always associated it with cow and now I am told it is bull. Somehow I associate it with female... why is that?
Always looking for someone to set me straight!

Yes I have, before i look it up in Riggs Dakota Dictionary I am going to guess, a young female bull as in Buffalo. I had to look the word up before in translating a name a few years back...

pte, a noun. a cow, the female buffalo. The bison or buffaloo is colloquially termed "pte," irrespective of sex. The counterpart is "tatanka."
